Happy Friday: Look What $26-Bucks Got Me

Natural Grocers, Hemp Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Medjool Dates, Brazil Nuts

This is my haul from Natural Grocers today. Après 6:00p snack food.

And the Star of the Food Shopping Trip; Hemp Seeds

Jim Lommasson, Photographer, Exit WoundsHemp Seeds weren’t the only items I picked up at Natural Grocers. I was in the neighborhood after a cool meeting with former Art School Mate and Oregon Arts Commission Fellowship Recipient, Jim Lommasson. Jim contacted me the other day with a really good idea for “Self Expression” during these unsettling times, especially next month in the upcoming year (January 2017). Anyway, I’m off track. More on Jim’s project later…

Onto the real story here. It’s about new sources of Plant Protein

I’ve wanted to try Hemp Seeds in my morning Goop since I heard about them a few weeks ago. Take a look below at ALL the GOOD STUFF in these puppies. I’m amazed at how many of the nutrients I’m looking for are in these hemp seeds, especially the minerals.

And, that’s just the tip of my $26 shopping trip. I also purchased:

Natural Grocers, Hemp Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Medjool Dates, Brazil Nuts• Bob’s Red Mill 5 Grain Cereal
    • Pumpkin Seeds
    • Brazil Nuts
    • Medjool Dates
    • Organic Peanut Butter
    • Giant Peruvian Inca Corn (Trader Joe’s)

Now, I need to go find a movie or two to watch on Netflix tonight, now that I have all my healthy snacks ready to go. Cheers! = Have a Great Weekend
