Food is Fuel, Not a Reward (most of the time)
By necessity, I’ve learned to cook and because of my “obsessive” nature (I have a difficult time with the concept of “Good Enough”), I am proficient and curious for new flavors. I like to try new things.
I learned early in life that if I craved certain foods (think Mom’s cooking), I figured out how to make the way I liked it.
What followed to test my assumptions was one simple change for one-month; eliminate Animal Protein from my diet for one month and see what happens. It worked and I easily achieved my fitness goal with this simple experiment.
Now, I feel confident about making sure I continually include diverse Nutrient & Fuel sources and, in a fun and entertaining way to explore new healthy beneficial nutrient food choices.
